Day 1: HANOI – PU LUONG
Village Life – Water Wheels – Bamboo Rafting
07:00 AM – Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Journey to Pu Luong Nature Reserve (4 hours drive, excluding stops).
10:00 AM – Short break for refreshments and photos.
12:00 PM – Arrive in Pu Luong. Lunch at a local restaurant and check-in (standard time 14:00). Relax at your own pace.
01:30 PM – Begin a leisurely 2.5km walk from Ban Cong. Cross a suspension bridge to reach a scenic riverside village. Witness local life, vast rice paddies, and the giant bamboo water wheels, a signature invention of the Thai ethnic minority. (Difficulty level: 2/5)
03:00 PM – Enjoy a bamboo rafting session at Chieu Lau dam. Paddle with locals, feel the calm of the river, and continue your 2km walk through tranquil fields to return to the main road.
05:00 PM – Return to the hotel and relax.
07:00 PM – Dinner is served. Optional: join a cooking class to learn local Thai recipes. End your first day with free time to unwind.
Day 2: PU LUONG – HANOI

07:00 AM – Breakfast and prepare for a nature-focused morning.
08:45 AM – Take a relaxed walk into the heart of Don Village, known for its scenic beauty and cultural vibrancy. Watch the landscape shift with every step. Arrive at Uoi Hamlet, tucked at the base of limestone mountains — a photo-worthy view you won’t forget.
Continue downhill to Lan Village, home to nearly 100 Thai families. Here, you’ll enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of streams, duck ponds, and traditional stilt houses. You may opt for a peaceful bicycle ride or keep walking through the village paths.
Engage with the local community and witness their centuries-old craft: brocade weaving. This is your chance to see and touch authentic, handmade textile art and understand its cultural significance.
11:30 AM – Return to your accommodation, check out, and enjoy a farewell lunch.
01:00 PM – Depart for Hanoi. Estimated arrival time at your hotel: 6:30 PM (subject to traffic).
