Pu Luong Trekking Adventure from Hanoi – Off the Beaten Path ( 3 Days 2 Nights )

Day 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong (L – D)

Caving | Scenic Rice Fields | Off-Road Trekking

• 07:00 AM: Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Drive 4 hours to Pu Luong (short rest en route).

• 12:00 PM: Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Lunch at a local restaurant and check-in.

• 01:30 PM: Start a 10km trek to Kho Muong Village via jungle trails and streams. Discover Vietnam’s ethnic life and natural wonders deep within the valley.

• Continue to Bang Village, nestled among breathtaking terraced fields.

• 05:00 PM: Return to the lodge and unwind.

Evening: Optional cooking class. Dinner at 7:00 PM, then free time for stargazing or herbal foot baths.

Day 2: Pu Luong Off-Road Trekking (B – L – D)

Trekking 19km | Ethnic Villages | Waterfalls

• 09:00 AM: Begin a 5km hike from Don Village, passing vibrant rice fields.

• Visit Quan and Uoi Villages—rarely touched by travelers.

• Explore Lan Village, home to the last traditional Thai weavers in Pu Luong. Learn about brocade weaving firsthand.

• Trek through jungle to Long Village, where you’ll discover a local duck farm raising Co Lung ducks—a regional delicacy recognized for its premium quality.

Lunch by the Waterfall

• Transfer 6km by car or bicycle to Hieu Village.

• Enjoy lunch beside Hieu Waterfall, where the sound of nature calms your soul.

• Afterward, swim and explore the upper part of the village, absorbing local life and mountain serenity.

Return: Depending on your transport choice, follow a scenic trail or cycle through quiet hamlets. Back to the lodge by 4:30 PM.

Evening: Herbal foot soak, happy hour, dinner at 7:00 PM.

Day 3: Village Life – Rafting – Hanoi Return (B – L)

Water Wheels | Bamboo Rafting | Local Culture

• 07:00 AM: Breakfast and prepare for a nature walk.

• 08:45 AM: Head to Ban Cong. Cross a suspension bridge to reach riverside villages where giant wooden water wheels stand as symbols of ethnic ingenuity.

• Enjoy a bamboo raft ride along the calm stream, paddled by locals.

• 10:00 AM: Complete a 2km loop trek through rice fields back to the main road.

• 11:30 AM: Check out and have a farewell lunch.

• 01:00 PM: Depart for Hanoi. Expected arrival at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

Children Price

• Free of charge for babies (0 – 4 years old)
• Children from 4 to 8 years old: 75% of adult rate
• Child from 9 years must pay the full adult rate

Cancellation policy:

– Please make full payment before at least 03 days to confirm the booking
– Full refund if cancellation is received 2 days before departure.
– No refund if cancellation is received 14 hours before departure
– Possibility of amending tours 2 days before departure if available or change the departure date without extra costs.
– Cancellation is only confirmed by email or WhatsApp.

Policies for all tours:

– Phongnha Discovery will not give any refund if the customers want to return during the tours.
– For safety, our tour guide has the right to change the itinerary.
– If the tour has to be cancelled due to bad weather, we will inform customers as soon as possible with alternative options:
