Pu Luong Trekking Tour with Villages, Caves & Bamboo Rafting ( 2 Day 1Night )

DAY 1: HANOI – PU LUONG (L – D)

Caving | Scenic Rice Fields

• 07:00 AM – Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Drive approximately 4 hours.

• 10:00 AM – Stop for a short break and enjoy countryside views.

• 12:00 PM – Arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Lunch at a local restaurant. Check-in and rest (standard check-in at 2:00 PM).

• 01:30 PM – Start your afternoon trek (Level: 4/5)

  • Transfer to the trailhead for a 10km off-road trek.

  • Explore Kho Muong Village, hidden in a lush valley, and Pu Luong’s largest cave via streams and forest paths.

  • Continue to Bang Village to explore remote homes nestled among layered rice terraces.

  • Return to your accommodation by 5:00 PM.

Evening:

• Optional cooking class available.

• 7:00 PM – Enjoy a local dinner and unwind with free time.

DAY 2: PU LUONG – HANOI (B – L)

Village Life | Water Wheels | Rafting

• 07:00 AM – Breakfast. Prepare for morning activities.

• 08:45 AM – Transfer to Ban Cong, then begin a 2.5km village walk (Level: 2/5)

  • Cross a suspension bridge to a scenic village where the largest stream in Pu Luong flows.

  • Witness rural life, admire rice paddies, and search for giant water wheels, the ingenious handiwork of local ethnic people.

• 10:00 AM – Arrive at Chieu Lau Dam for an exciting bamboo rafting experience.

• Continue a 2km trek through rice fields and finish a loop trail.

• Return to hotel by 11:30 AM for checkout. Enjoy lunch before departure.

• 01:00 PM – Board the vehicle for the return trip to Hanoi.

• Expected arrival at your Hanoi hotel by 6:30 PM, traffic depending.

Children Price

• Free of charge for babies (0 – 4 years old)
• Children from 4 to 8 years old: 75% of adult rate
• Child from 9 years must pay the full adult rate

Cancellation policy:

– Please make full payment before at least 03 days to confirm the booking
– Full refund if cancellation is received 2 days before departure.
– No refund if cancellation is received 14 hours before departure
– Possibility of amending tours 2 days before departure if available or change the departure date without extra costs.
– Cancellation is only confirmed by email or WhatsApp.

Policies for all tours:

– Phongnha Discovery will not give any refund if the customers want to return during the tours.
– For safety, our tour guide has the right to change the itinerary.
– If the tour has to be cancelled due to bad weather, we will inform customers as soon as possible with alternative options:
+ We can offer another tour which is not affected by weather conditions (please note that the alternative tour cost can be lower or higher)
+ We can change the departure date without extra fee
